Yellow Earth’s popular biennial playreading festival, TYPHOON, will be returning this autumn, showcasing a new selection of bold new writing by playwrights of East Asian* decent from around the globe.

Tristan Bates Theatre 27 September, 4 and 11 October
Soho Theatre 18 and 25 October
Full schedule will be announced in early September. Each afternoon will feature a different play that has never been produced in the UK.
Two plays from TYPHOON 2017 have gone on to have UK runs: White Pearl by Anchuli Felicia King is currently being performed on the main stage at the Royal Court and Forgotten by Daniel York Loh had a UK tour in autumn 2018, playing at the Arcola Theatre (London) and Theatre Royal Plymouth. Summer Rolls by Tuyen Do, which had a staged reading at TYPHOON 2016, will be playing this summer at the Park Theatre and Bristol Old Vic.
