The Performers Course is a fully funded intensive course in the Summer for young British East Asians*(16+). There will be classes in voice, movement, clowning, improvisation and devising with leading theatre professionals plus lunchtime talks in producing, marketing and different career paths.
You can come from any performance discipline and no previous experience is needed, just a willingness to play and be open.
This one-week intensive course will be held from Monday 13 – Friday 17 July 2020 at Sustained Theatre Up North (STUN), Z-Arts, 335 Stretford Road, Manchester, M15 5ZA.
HOW TO APPLY
All who apply will be invited to a taster workshop held at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester on Sat 6 June 2020, 3pm-5pm.
Regarding the current ongoing situation with COVID-19, we will continue to monitor the situation. We and our partners are commited to seeing this programme happen in one form or another, be it in person or via online classes. A decision will be made nearer the time.
*British East Asian: anyone of East or South-East Asian descent living and working in the UK.
