Bespoke Projects

We can work in partnership with you to develop a project best suited to your school, college, community or organisation. For example, if your school is organising an activity week focused on China we can arrange for a carousel of workshops with facilitators specialising in dance, music, storytelling or Beijing Opera to deliver classes pitched for the age group you are looking for. Or, perhaps you are interested in a residency culminating in a performance by your students; we can work with you to create a unique and exciting inclusive learning experience for all your students. Over the years we have a worked with a diverse variety of groups and organisations – as well as schools – that rebook us regularly. Here are some examples of bespoke projects that we have created in partnership with organisations.

Half Moon Theatre

The Last Days of Limehouse

In partnership with Half Moon Theatre in London we organised in depth workshops in schools exploring the schools local heritage prior to a special schools performance of our theatre production of The Last Days of Limehouse at the Old Town Hall Limehouse.

An audio guide was also created to accompany the play with actors voicing their characters taking audiences on a journey of the now forgotten East End Chinatown.

Silk Web

A youth performance project inspired by the company’s main house production of Running the Silk Road.

Secondary school students from Longdean School in Hemel Hempstead, Kidbrooke, and Charles Edward Brooke School in London worked with a professional Chinese dancer, musician and Beijing Opera storyteller to explore these ancient stories and artforms and came together to perform at Watford Palace Theatre and the Pit, Barbican Centre.
