SONG UNSUNG

100 years ago, 140,000 Chinese men were recruited by the British and French armies to work behind the Western Front during the First World War. As part of the commemorations for WW1, CAS has commissioned Yellow Earth to create a 15 minute music drama as part of Project New Earth; four short works to celebrate the CLC’s memory within the context of British Chinese communities living in the UK today.
