Provided by Orion Lee  and  Awarded by Yellow Earth Theatre Co.

NEW DEADLINE  26 MAY: AUDITIONS  11 JUNE IN LONDON

This bursary aims to encourage and promote greater participation and representation of British East Asian actors on stage and screen.

To be eligible, students must be in their final year of a three year BA Acting, Film/TV or Musical Theatre course at any drama school or in the second year of the LAMDA or Bristol Old Vic two year professional acting courses.

Students will be expected to present two audition pieces, one classical and one modern of no longer than 3 minutes each. They will not be required to sing.

*Eligible applicants must be British residents with at least one parent of East Asian descent.

East Asian descent includes: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, North Korea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and their Diasporas.
